No. I didn’t like The Disney ones, but I never seen The Rise Of Skywalker yet. I liked the original 6 and I can’t wait to see it in 4K especially the lightsaber fights and hear it in Atmos.

While I am not sure about the previous six Star Wars movies. A lot of movies were originally recorded to digital masters at the 2000 lines of resolution. In the cases of such movies, a blu-ray recording is close to being equal to the master recordings of such films.

The Disney live action movies all have their flaws. Solo, Ep 8, and Ep 9 are a mess. Ep 07 was a good opener but without a good sequel it goes no where. And Rogue One killed off the cast, thus preventing franchising new characters for other movies and toy sales.

If you like Star Wars and want to watch something more than the first Six Films. Check out the Clone Wars OVAs, also the Clone Wars series/movie. Yes the movie sucks, but the series gets good by the end of season 1.

If you find you like the Clone Wars series, check out Rebels. Like Clone Wars, the first season is not get that good, but Seasons 2-4 are good and wrap a lot of the plot lines that began in the Clone Wars series. Also, seeing Vader and other popular SW characters in action was a treat.

Beyond that there is the pre-Disney Expanded Universe books, comics, video games, role playing games, and music. Twenty years worth of story material to entertain yourself with.

If you want to know how the sequel trilogy of Star Wars should have been, go read the Young Jedi Knights book series. A lighthearted book series that was years ahead of its time. The “Diversity Alliance” plot predicted the rise of what we now call SJWs.

Also, the Young Jedi Knight series was the last lighthearted Star Wars series set post films. The Young Jedi Knight series was set right before the Jedi Knight book series which was extremely dark. With the following book series being dark as well.

I saw Ep9 recently and it was absolute crap

I thought it was ok for the opening 10 minutes but then it went downhill as expected

Souless crap with massive plotholes. And MaRey Sue stinking up the place – wtf was that horse riding down the side of a star destroyer? And it had loads of stupid moments like that. I recently played Gears of War 5 and it feels the same as Nu Wars – just meaningless crap. The first three GOW were classics but I didnt even make it past the first chapter in “gears” 5. Same for Halo now – my favourite franchise now reduced to s~~~. RIP Craig lol

My beef is that most new age Sci Fi doesnt have T I T S in it. Only Villenueve and R. Scott have had the b a l l s to do that in the last 10 years. (Bladerunner2049 and ALienCovenant) … Nolan’s Interstellar would have been the #1 Sci Fi of ALL TIME if it had had just too easy additions, 1. T i t s, just one 5 second shot, is that so hard to show Jessica Chastain’s or Anne Hathaway’s naked breasts? 2. Contact of some sort with the tessaract beings, something, anything … we got nothing …

Strange that I bought the 6 from George Lucas back in April and I haven’t seen a single one of them yet. I like 4K. So I don’t know why I’m putting it off. Maybe it’s that I found something else to watch.
