So finally the blinkers are off. You are free from relationship obligations, what now?

If anything like me then your whole life was built around getting the resouces to attract a mate, get married, then have kids. End game being having someone around to spend the rest of your life with and give you purpose.

But something went wrong. Either you didn’t amass the wealth to attract a suitable mate, or your physicallity made you unappealing to those you wanted to attract, or you were just repulsed by what was on offer and decided to pass.

Maybe you did everything “Right” and got to live the Blue Pill Heaven (while it lasts), but the dream was wrenched away from you when the woman you thought was your’s forever, was only your’s while the going was good.

So now the dust has settled, you are no longer tied to anyone except financially in many cases, or through children that you rarely see.

You’re back on your own, just as you were before the whole Blue Pill Dream began and you need to find a direction in life.

    What direction should that be?

Years ago I would have smartened myself up. gone downtown and tried my luck with any available female hoping to build short term pleasure into long term partnership.

In those days I beleived that someone would love me for who I was. I had a lot to give and expected the woman to give me back committment in return.

I was wrong. I was only ever as good as what I could provide.

Now I know this what do I do with my life?

I can’t committ to someone who is only using me. Even if I turn a blind eye to her motives for being with me, the Law will always be on her side if she decides to leave and want’s my assets as a parting gift for her valuable time.

I can’t take that risk. The stakes are too high, so what now?

Some say hobbies. Well that’s all well and good, but I’m hard wired to want more from life than playing with toys.

Some say build wealth. Well again, I can’t argue with that, but to what end? To buy more toys? To fund a comfortable though apparently meaningless life?

A man need a purpose. He needs to create, dominate or to protect that what is dear to him.

Life is short and I don’t know what the future holds for most, but unfortunately I do know what my ultimate end will be.

What do I do in the meantime?

Am I to Hide/Ghost? Am I to train and fight to become Alpha in a land of Soys? Am I to study Philosophy to expand my wisdom? Am I to hunt for easy prey on the Dating scene with no long term gain after my load is shot?

Am I to wait for direction from an outside source who never seems to arrive in time to give my life meaning?

We have the hardest task. To be free is accept responsibility for our own lives. We can blame no one else for our mistakes, bask in the admiration of no one else for our sucesses.

Our world is a maze with no map. We go our own way, at our own risk, for our own reward, and hope that the goal was worth the journey.

What is the Goal of your Freedom?

Learn, Experience and have fun! Life is not about women. Even when women were not doing this to men at this level, they were still not even close to being compatible. The brainwashing was women cared, but they never have. They just need someone to provide what they want, and men are the only ones capable.

Travel the world, experience new things and do things you personally enjoy. I play guitar, go on trips to see places with limited to no people, enjoy nature, and I watch movies and read books of my choosing.

The paradigm of the need for a direction in life is a false one that is used as part of the brainwashing so that you serve the system.

There is so much anyone can do with their freedom and you don’t have to concentrate on one narrow direction.

    Ok….men need to be needed.

I told you to go to one of those men’s sheds and teach some boys your mechanical skills.

I suggested you write that book.

Take in work for cash as a shade tree mechanic. Give the money to help men.

That makes me a passivge observer. I am hard wired to fix stuff. To create, to Build. Not to watch as other Men’s works are torn down.

This post really hits home for me. I’m 63 so the hardwiring is pretty fixed. I’m reminded of the book of Genesis in the Bible where it talks about why God created Eve. He created her for Adam. There isn’t a woman in my past that I miss. But, I do miss being in love with someone who loves me. There’s nothing like it in the world. If only God had made a dog for Adam instead.

Agree. It’s hard wired. We are the Builders, the Protectors. Why o Why do I need someone to need me?
And if that someone does need me, then what do they need me for? Am I just a utility to be exploited?

Why should I want to be someone’s Robot slave?

Before I got married I used to ride the trails a lot on my dirt bike. A LOT of fun even when on my own. When I got married my EX made me promise not to ride anymore citing she didn’t want to become a widow at my indulgence for dare.
When we separated as soon as I got the money, I went back to riding, but on the street instead of on dirt. I remember in reading one of your posts that you ride but that isn;t my point.
POINT is: Go and do something you have always wanted to do, but held back. Try not to kill ya self!

You are currently in the “LOST” stage of after marriage give it time;you’ll be fine !

Marry again, Hell NO ! ( Even JESUS was hung on a cross just once)

I still ride. I never stopped. It’s one of the few times I feel really free. I think of nothing else than the road. The journey is always a pleasure, but the destination?

    Unknown.

I’m just going to copy and paste my answer to a similar thread:

I feel exactly what you are going through, brother. The best thing you can do right now is concentrate on your physical health and financial stability.

Don’t work any more than you have to. Guys who work 100 hours a week are throwing their lives away chasing a carrot on a stick. Don’t be one of those guys. You work enough to maintain a comfortable living and thats all you should ever need. Other than that, just live one day at a time, don’t think too hard about the future. With enough time, you will discover the path that you are truly meant to take.

Do not get despondent. Time will reveal all things to you. Good luck, brother.

To expand on that, your path will reveal itself after you take care of your basic needs. I am also currently without a specific focus in life other than living one day at a time, and I’m fine with that. I’m confident that one day my intuition will lead me into something else. And even if it doesn’t, at least I can say that I enjoyed my short time on this earth the best way I knew how. Either way, it’s good.

We were all instilled with the idea of purpose, to keep us searching for the “next big thing”. That entails seeking a wife (benefits the system, not you) seeking wealth through overworking yourself (benefits the system, not you) Seeking materialistic things you don’t need (benefits the system, not you) … you get the point hopefully.

When searching for purpose, you’ll generally come up with an empty feeling, and trying to fulfill that emptiness, with something that benefits the system, and not you. My advice is this, just live day by day, you don’t need a master plan for your life.

Exactly. For a long time, I had thought about this issue, and this was the same answer that I eventually came up with.

Take care of your basic needs, and everything else will reveal itself with time.

With skis, off cliffs, make bombholes!

Greg, you met me, you know how when I’m determined to solve something I stop at nothing! MGTOW was that outside-the-box perfect solution! It was like handing myself my life on a silver platter!

Any time I like I can drop whatever I’m doing and go skiing! Or whatever! My latest determination is to streamline my businesses and continuing downsizing to a much lighter load! Just today I worked on a piece of s~~~ golf cart and got it running real good and for sale, I could have easily scrapped it but I’m ringing out every dollar I can from all the s~~~ I’m getting rid of! I’ve got a s~~~load of pristine auto parts I’m squeezing the money out of. All this while trying to advance my businesses.

F~~~ man, all I want to do is make empty space! Keep the s~~~ I like and use! F~~~ the rest! let someone else take care of it!

My keep-it-running time and expenses have been slashed to smithereens! Everything takes time and expense to keep it up and running! Freedom is having more time to do the things I like instead of always wrenching something, paying registrations, insurance, and a myriad of hidden time and expenses!

I’m hustling to lighten my load and make empty space! I like watching all the s~~~ vanish! I was gonna empty out the junkyard and scrap all the steel but a Nor’easter covered it in a blanket of heavy wet snow!

Another thing, I found the books GregBo sent me to give to you that you never got!

Who’s thinking books when you’re eating a fresh grilled cowboy steak?

For now your books are just smidgen of the big pile of s~~~ I want to clean up! It’s nice not to have to walk sideways to get around all the s~~~! Man, I got rid of some tonnage when it comes to heavy equipment! All s~~~ that I don’t have to work on anymore!

Freedom is not having a bunch of s~~~!

I am still working on accumulating wealth, but luckily I am relatively young (31) and do not have to worry about a female destroying it all with a divorce or bastard child. I am not doing it to attract a mate, I have a much better reason than that. I am doing it for myself, because I enjoy being successful, building an awesome life for myself, and I want to retire in my 40’s or 50’s. There is not a single woman on earth who can compete with that.
